Student and New Provider Conference

Rising to the Call: Empowering the Next Generation of EMS Professionals

Dear EMS Leaders and Educators,

I am thrilled to announce an exciting educational opportunity designed specifically for new EMS providers with less than five years of experience, as well as students currently enrolled in EMS programs. This initiative aims to prepare them for successful careers in the evolving EMS industry.

Under the leadership of Director Ward, a dedicated team of us has come together to address the challenges faced by newcomers in our field. We recognize the existing knowledge gap due to time constraints in standard programs. Many new employees are not fully aware of the functions of state EMS agencies, the EMS board, and key aspects such as avoiding disciplinary issues, maintaining health and wellness, effective decision-making, and engaging with successful medical directors.

This unique event promises to make a substantial impact on our industry by equipping the next generation of providers and leaders with the necessary tools and knowledge. We've collaborated with numerous accomplished leaders across the state to develop a program that we are confident will be transformative.

We invite you to share this information with individuals who could benefit from this exceptional learning opportunity. This event is offered FREE of charge; however, registration is necessary due to limited seating availability. To facilitate participation, it is advisable to register early.
